Heheh it's an absolute riot to see my lame attempts at any game involving moving a vehicle around ..... mario kart springs to mind...

Chess hurts my brain.... I remember wanting to learn when I was a kid and no adults would play .... I blame my parents !!!

Currently these beings are playing a game they got on loan from a friend, Dungeon siege. It took some work to get it functional on Windows 7, but it works well now. It is a quite nice game...

I recently installed the game Magic: the Gathering - Battlegrounds again. As the title indicates, it is based - very loosely, I might say - on the well-known cardgame. It's a love-it-or-hate-it kind of game, with me falling squarely in the former camp: I think it's totally awesome. Although the controls are sometimes a little iffy, I have to admit.

Man Rex, I always wanted to have a go at a Magic: the Gathering game. Had a go at it once, was fun!

I'm currently replaying a game called Dead Space on Hard Mode.
Scary stuff.

We used to have a Magic the Gathering game, but I can't remember a heck of a lot about it ...... I liked it at the time... but like all things it has faded from my mind and into obscurity for ever...
Is Battlegrounds just play against the computer or do you play people online?

Hmmm haven't heard of Dead Space.

Both, but I have never been able to play online - supposedly my cd key is incorrect (But it did let me install the game - go figure). And by now the game is so old that I don't think anyone is still playing. A real shame, that.

However, one can have a lot of singleplayer fun with the quest mode and arcade battles. It's a very quick, fast-paced and hectic game (real-time as opposed to turnbased), but the beauty of it is that is strategic - it's not just button mashing. You have to make the right decisions lightning-quick, otherwise you're dead.

Well Dead Space is pretty recent but alot of people here don't seem to be into the recent generation of games haha XD.
If you want to get the basics of it you should watch this trailer of it.
Note: if your squeamish or don't like horror/blood don't watch it. Not that there is ALOT of horror/blood but it is there. Along with creepy monsters.

So I've noticed!!!! But then I'M the one who's never head of Dead Space and I don't know much about older games compared to recent releases......
I think it's more a case of ....... there's a lot of new AND old games I've never heard of!!!
So why did I bother to mention that I never heard of Dead Space....... that information is unknown!
I was just makin' conversation .......?

Anyhoo, I watched the vid but it keeps bombing on me before it got to any horror, blood, monsters.... bum ....

bombing = stops working .... just hangs there as if buffering up but never starts playing again.....
probably due to my crappy internet connection but it did it three separate times when i reloaded the page at the exact same spot - weird!!!

Anyhoo the youtube one worked, thanks! Yeh bit creepy for my tastes I guess..... I dont mind gore and destruction but I don't really like stuff that pops out at you screaming .... sooooo nah not a fan of horror!
